I tried to boot the game up with the latest update, it refuses to open and I get an error saying that there's a virus among the files or something similar. I also tried the browser version, but the ui barely works there.
I played this for like a week straight. Just in the weekend i couldn't play.
My whole opinion about that game (master piece) is about my experience. If someone disagree with what i've said, you can just ignore or reply me, i will gladly read. (My native language isn't english so my bad for some bad typiyng)
The key points that made me love this game (and become hyped for future updates) is the "choose your way" gameplay. There is a narrative, but you can choose, change and interact with different elements in-game in different manners. That said, i love games that you can actively do something and isn't straight-up a novel that you just skip text. The art style, the music some times and the SFX makes the experience better. I would like some more visuals for in-between transformations, intermediate visuals during the transformation to give a more fluid and natural representation of the transformation. main character visuals, and PC visual changes accordingly with the mutations and choices. I hope that happens in future updates.
As well for more interactions with specific NPC'S. My favorites obviously, The Imp, The Bind and The Priosioneer.
With almost everything said (I will hold my thoughts for a more complete and finished status of the project) i humbly say that game is a straight 8,5/10.
Perks, leveling (hand in hand I know) getting the sigel of growth and pain from Trogar so you can induce growth (including muscle which adds to strength) and/or increase the damage of you next hit. They stack. If you're having trouble fighting anything at all, fighting The Bind is a decent way of gaining XP and essence. Also, Essence hoarder perk. Even as someone with a lot of back progress and achievements, the start of the game is still a bit slow in actively improving your stats. Also if you don't mind going back a version or two to build up some progress in achievements over, the slime, while a slow XP gain, doesn't scale in any manner. But yeah, choosing good perks/abilities and making sure you interact with Lukka are critical in both getting your growth rolling and just increasing your strength.
I'd also love to know this. The wiki doesn't have them (and a couple of the ones it does have are barebones at best, missing crucial info to achieve them).
The author is great. Will the plot of Leviathan becoming a god be updated later? I'm looking forward to it. Will there be any updates on the plot of imp in the future? Can we give imp a stronger state? It feels like he's growing a bit slowly (I prefer imp hahaha)
I used a translator to translate the words I left, which may not be very accurate. I hope the author can understand and always support you (a Chinese fan)
So with the new version we lose the ability to shape the slime and also lost some content will you ever add some legacy content section To the game so we can see old deleted scenes and art?
how are you supposed to get envoy of the spawns? i assumed you get spawn hive lord then do a sex scene with abel, but i tried it and it was just a normal sex scene, is it somebody else?
Not sure if you're still looking for an answer but Spawn Hive Lord triggers at 10 spawns, to do the scene with Abel you need at least 15, which will appear as Spawn Hive Lord[5]
i cant do text adventures as my brain will quit on me before i even finish the prologue i can read just fine its just i cant focus long enough to read books and the like
does anybody know a way to increase the maximum possible size limit? the current 50 max limit break is big, but ultimately not very much on the cosmic scale you can reach.
is there any possibility of getting save compatibility with 0.10.5 back? it's the version i started on and i have a lot of achievements it'd be a pain to get back
Complete Lukka's research on your symbiote, make Torgar to reject corruption, make an oath to Drenth (the dragonborn in the castle in Nyx realm). Then when you acquire the medallion of the void, tell their names to it (it should glow with a bluish white colour) and defeat Nyx boss. There will be unique option after it, take it.
Really? Shelving the random Lost encounter? That has like one of the better transformation feedback scenes in the whole game without replaying all over again.
Really, at the start I was rather excited when the game came out but it seems each updates just marching in place with how most of the change being combat update that tries to remove itself simultaneously and most content ended up in the ending for players bothered enough to replay the game over and over, oh well.

Free him from the prison. Fight him till you can evolve Ferro and join your party. Then fight Apotus and win after that reach out to Ferro.

Sigil of Growth might need to be nerfed, by stacking sigil of pain, and corrupted strength against the imp, i did 796 damage and grew 128 ft

Those should be the only ones you need to find, Abel has the 1st piece so just bring the other 2 back to him.

I've just realized the main characters name "Ankou" comes from japanese word "Ankoku" wich means Darkness, cool.
Y'know Darkness can also means "Yami" in Japanese
yami is a physical darkness, Ankoku is spiritual darkness or corruption
